This tutorial aims to demonstrate how to change your email sender IP for WHM/Cpanel servers/VPS's
This tutorial assumes that you already have an extra ip address assigned to your server.
1 Log into WHM or your cPanel VPS hosting account
2 Go to Home > Service Configuration >EximConfigurationEditor
3 Enable the option Reference/etc/mailipsforoutgoingSMTPconnections
4 Save the changes
5 Login to the server via ssh using Putty.
6 Open file /etc/mailips in nano
7 *:1.2.3.4
8 Replace 1.2.3.4withthenewmailserverIP.
9 Save changes and exit.
10 Restart Exim using the following command: /etc/init.d/exim restart or simply hit restart exim in WHM
