At times you may notice more spam come through on your Managed VPS Plesk server.

Check the following to be sure all is setup correctly first.

  1. DNS records should be: 197.221.0.5, 41.204.202.244,197.221.12.8 (Note using Google DNS servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 will usually cause problems for RBLs below)
  2. Blacklists should have the following: sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org;b.barracudacentral.org;bl.spamcop.net
    1. Ensure you have an account with barracuda or request we add your VPS IP to our account with them.
  3. Ensure Server Wide Spam is emailed.
  4. Set spam in Plesk under Mail section for the domain to Delete Messages when triggered or to place in junk folder.
